Pleasant Street Offices and Household Hazardous Waste Renovation

As part of Hamilton County’s revitalization strategy, Envoy served as the Owner’s Representative overseeing the adaptive reuse of a former Humane Society building and construction of a new HHW drop-off facility. The renovated Pleasant Street Offices now house three critical county departments—Household Hazardous Waste, Soil & Water Conservation District, and Weights & Measures—under one efficient and modernized campus.

Design & Construction Highlights


  • Full-scale interior renovation of the former Humane Society building, including demolition, floor leveling, and office build-outs for approximately 12,185 sq ft.
  • Garage addition to support operational logistics and vehicle maintenance.
  • New pre-engineered metal building totaling 13,273 sq ft, designed for secure and efficient household hazardous waste operations.
  • Seamless coordination despite minor supply delays. The project completed smoothly and on time.
