Project Highlight: Tri-Township Fire & Rescue Headquarters
Tri-Township Fire & Rescue recently celebrated a major milestone with the ribbon cutting and dedication of its new headquarters in Sellersburg, Indiana. Envoy is proud to have served as the developer for the project, helping bring to life a facility designed to support the department’s firefighters today while preparing for the continued growth of the communities they serve.
The celebration brought together firefighters, first responders, community leaders, project partners, and residents to mark the official opening of the new facility and recognize an important investment in public safety for southern Indiana.
Built for a Growing Community
Tri-Township Fire & Rescue serves approximately 20,000 residents across 64 square miles, including Silver Creek, Carr and Union townships, Sellersburg, Memphis and portions of Clarksville. As residential development continues throughout the area, the department has seen increasing demands on its personnel, equipment, and facilities.
The new headquarters represents the first phase of a larger vision to ensure Tri-Township is prepared to meet those needs for years to come.
At approximately 23,000 square feet, the headquarters provides significantly more space for the department’s operations and creates an environment specifically designed around the needs of a modern fire and rescue service.
Designed to Support Those Who Serve
From the beginning, the project was designed with both current and future firefighters in mind.
The new headquarters features expanded apparatus space, 10 bedrooms, a commercial gym, a decontamination area, and dedicated spaces for equipment and operations. A large classroom also provides space to train and develop the next generation of firefighters.
The facility is a significant transformation from the department’s previous headquarters, providing firefighters with the space, resources, and functionality needed to train, respond and serve their community more effectively.
Celebrating a New Chapter
The ribbon cutting marked more than the completion of a building. It represented the next chapter for Tri-Township Fire & Rescue and the culmination of a long-term vision for strengthening public safety throughout the communities it serves.
The celebration also included the dedication of the department’s new 2026 Pierce Enforcer, Truck 31. Firefighters officially welcomed the apparatus into service with a traditional push-in ceremony, bringing another longstanding fire service tradition to the day’s celebration.
As the community continues to grow, the new headquarters provides Tri-Township Fire & Rescue with a strong foundation for what comes next.
Envoy is proud to have served as the developer for this important project and to work alongside Tri-Township Fire & Rescue and the project team to deliver a facility built around the people who serve their community every day. We congratulate the department on this milestone and look forward to seeing the new headquarters serve firefighters and residents for generations to come.
