Featured Project Update: Hancock County Justice Facility Renovations Complete
GREENFIELD, IN - Delivering spaces that support the people who serve our communities is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. Envoy is proud to announce the completion of renovations for both the Hancock County Community Corrections facility and the Hancock County Prosecutor's Office, helping modernize critical public safety infrastructure in Greenfield, Indiana.
The projects represent an important investment in the county's justice system, creating updated environments that better support staff, programs, and the residents they serve. County officials had previously highlighted the need for improved facilities as work progressed through the phased renovations.
Community Corrections
Working within the existing former jail facility, Envoy transformed a portion of the building into functional office and classroom space for the Community Corrections program. The renovation included significant modifications to the existing structure, along with updated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, resulting in a modern, efficient environment that better supports staff and offender programming.
Prosecutor's Office
Envoy also completed renovations to a portion of the Hancock County Prosecutor's Office, modernizing the space while thoughtfully integrating the improvements into the existing building. The updated offices provide a more functional environment for the Prosecutor's team and improve day-to-day operations as they continue serving Hancock County. Earlier this year, county leaders announced the completion of the first phase of renovations and began transitioning staff into the newly renovated spaces.
Building Better Public Spaces
Projects like these require careful coordination to minimize disruption while renovating occupied public facilities. Led by Project Manager Craig Huls, our team worked closely with Hancock County to deliver improvements that will serve the community for years to come.
We appreciate the opportunity to partner with Hancock County on these important renovations and look forward to seeing these updated spaces continue to support public safety, rehabilitation, and the administration of justice.
